Curo Site Manager wins at Pride in the Job Awards for the second year in a row

Alan Mapston, a Senior Site Manager from the housing association and house-builder Curo, has been successful in the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Award competition for the second year running.

The National House Building Council has honoured Alan with a Quality Award for his commitment, leadership, and the high standards attained at Mulberry Park.

In order to gain recognition in this national competition, Alan has been successful in the South West Region. His win serves as a reminder of the pivotal role that Curo’s Site Managers play in delivering great properties and places.

Alan, who has been a Site Manager for over 20 years, noted that the NHBC Awards have always been one of the best accolades a Site Manager could receive. Following a rigorous and time-consuming judging process that considers important factors like leadership, technical proficiency, health and safety, and attention to detail, the competition commends the best Site Managers from across Britain. Last year, Alan and his colleague Lee Watts, another Senior Site Manager won awards for their work at both Woodland View at Hygge Park and Mulberry Park.

Alan said “it was fantastic to receive the award again this year. We are already thinking about next year’s award and what we can improve on.” He continued, “the Mulberry Park scheme looks fantastic, the Hub and its surrounding amenities really enhance the community feel. I am proud to say I am a part of this.”
