Curo Marks First Foundations at Withies Green

Curo is delighted to share that the first foundations have now been laid at Withies Green in Keynsham, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of this exciting new development. 

This important moment signifies the transition from planning to construction, bringing the vision for Withies Green one step closer to reality. On Monday, 23rd February 2026, colleagues gathered on site to recognise the progress made so far, reflect on the extensive planning and collaboration behind the scenes, and look ahead to the next stages of development. 

This year, we proudly shone a spotlight on the people behind the project. Members of our dedicated Land, Technical, Commercial, Site and Sales teams came together to celebrate the teamwork and commitment that make a development of this scale possible. Our colleagues have worked closely alongside one another from the earliest planning and technical phases through to the start of construction — and will continue to do so as the homes rise from the foundations and we prepare to welcome residents into their new community. 

Withies Green will comprise of 168 houses and 40 apartments. Of these, 62 affordable homes will be managed by Curo for the long term, including 47 for social rent and 15 for shared ownership. The one- to five-bedroom homes have been thoughtfully designed with energy efficiency in mind and will be set among beautiful green spaces, creating a vibrant, community-focused environment. The first homes will be ready to move into in winter 26/ 27.
