Curo Site Manager Celebrates Hat-Trick Win at Pride in the Job Awards

Alan Mapston, Senior Site Manager at Curo’s Mulberry Park development has taken home his third consecutive win at the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards. 

Alan was presented with his third Quality Award at the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards, chosen from a pool of Site Managers across the South West, Alan’s latest win highlights the exemplary standards he has set at Mulberry Park. 

The NHBC Awards are highly respected as one of the most prestigious commendations for Site Managers across Britain. They are judged on a wide variety of factors, including leadership capabilities, technical expertise, health and safety practices and attention to detail.

Alan manages a team of two other Site Managers, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the ground, ensuring that construction standards are consistently met, timelines are adhered to, and safety protocols are strictly followed. Their combined expertise guarantees that every project not only meets but often exceeds the expectations set. Under Alan's leadership, this trio have become stewards of quality and efficiency at Mulberry Park.

Reflecting on his three-time win, Alan commented, “It's fantastic to win the hat-trick this year. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in scheme."

He continues, "I'd like to thank the site team, Lee and Grant, the contractors and the Curo Technical Department, as well as the Commercial and Sales Teams for making this possible. By volume, Mulberry Park is the largest site I've managed in my career to date, and I am incredibly proud to have been part of it."
