Curo donates to Connect Bath this Christmas

As the holiday season approaches, Curo is delighted to announce our continued support for Connect Bath. This year, we will contribute further to Connect Bath’s festive initiatives, supplying 150 bags of chocolate coins for the guests at their Christmas meal, providing raffle prizes, and sponsoring the Christmas Card competition.

Connect Bath, a cherished community organisation dedicated to alleviating loneliness during the Christmas period, has been a beacon of support for over 30 years. Operated by a dedicated group of passionate volunteers, the initiative offers a freshly prepared festive lunch to individuals who would otherwise spend Christmas Day alone. This not only supplies a delicious meal, but also fosters well-being through meaningful conversations, connections, and companionship.

Each year, the occasion accommodates approximately 150 Guests,  spreading Christmas joy across the Bath community. Additionally, meals extend beyond the event's venue, reaching Julian House, The Women’s Refuge, various local support agencies, and dedicated volunteers – some 400 meals in all

Reflecting on the partnership, Jodie Winter, Curo Sales Manager, said: "We are thrilled to extend our support to Connect Bath once again. The holiday season is a time for unity and compassion, and we are committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. Connect Bath's dedication to ensuring that no one feels alone during Christmas aligns with our values, and we look forward to contributing to the celebrations."

Connect Bath welcomes community involvement and volunteering. For those interested in attending the event, please contact Connect Bath at 01225 312271 or 07392 974405.

Curo remains dedicated to its social objectives, emphasising the importance of supporting local communities and collaborating with organisations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. With developments like Mulberry Park (Bath), Keyford Meadows (Frome), Century Park (Bristol), Eaton Park (Yatton), and Locking Parklands (Weston super Mare), we continue to prioritise community well-being across South West England.
