About Shared Ownership
You buy a share in a home, usually between 25% and 75%, and pay a discounted rent to Curo on the remaining share. This means you’ll need a smaller deposit and a smaller mortgage, making it easier and more affordable for you to own a home. You can then purchase more shares at a time that is right for you, in most cases, up to 100%. This process is called ‘staircasing’ and once you’ve achieved full ownership, you’ll no longer need to pay rent to us.
